Goal : Clients are met in the information about hypertension
Nursing Intervention:
- Explain the nature and purpose of disease treatment and procedures
- Explain the importance of a peaceful environment, not stressful
- Discuss about the drug name, dosage, time of administration, purpose and side effects or toxic effects
- Explain the need to avoid the use of free drug without a doctor’s examination
- Discuss symptoms of relapse or progression of complications to be reported doctor: headache, dizziness, fainting, nausea and vomiting.
- Discuss the importance of maintaining a stable weight
- Discuss the importance of avoiding fatigue and weight lifting
- Discuss the need for low-calorie diets, low sodium to order
- Explain the importance of maintaining proper fluid intake, the amount allowed, the restriction that contain caffeine such as coffee, tea and alcohol
- Explain the need to avoid constipation and detention
